Description: A day of Family fun at the Corcoran featuring ukiyo-e workshop and “Blossoms in Bloom” photo contest.
Family Workshop: What a Relief! (all ages)
Visit the Corcora and take part in this free workshop for the whole family. Inspired by ukiyo-e, or Japanese woodblock prints, families will create bold, colorful relief prints using inks, tools and a variety of surfaces.
Blossoms in Bloom Photo Contest (ages 8-16)
Do you have an award-winning photo of this year’ cherry blossoms in bloom? The Corcoran invites you to in its Blossoms in Bloom Photo Contest. Submit one digital image (300 dpi) to education@corcoran.org by April 12, 2010.
The winner receives a free Family Membership to the Corcoran ($100 value) and his/her image will beposted to the Corcoran’s Youth and Family homepage by April 15. Limit one entry per person.

Parking: Free parking is available on Hains Point in East Potomac Park. Parking is located along Ohio Drive SW. A free shuttle bus will run from 10:00am to 7:00pm daily during the festival to transport visitors to the Tidal Basin.
