2023 ANA National Cherry Blossom Festival Sweepstakes:

Win a Trip to Tokyo on All Nippon Airways

Sweepstakes celebrates Japan being open to travel once again

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED; NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER

Washington, D.C. [December 14, 2022] – All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest 5-star airline, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, one of the world’s greatest celebrations of spring, are partnering to launch an airfare sweepstakes, inviting the public to enter for a chance to win a pair of round-trip tickets to Tokyo on ANA. For every 100 entries to the sweepstakes, ANA will plant one new cherry blossom tree in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area for future generations to enjoy.

The sweepstakes is open now through February 13, 2023 to all eligible U.S. residents ages 18 and older outside the state of Tennessee. One lucky winner will be chosen at random to receive a pair of economy class round-trip tickets to Tokyo from a U.S. ANA gateway airport. Entrants can also receive bonus entries to the sweepstakes by sharing a unique URL with their friends and by entering their ANA Mileage Club (AMC) account number. (Those who are not AMC members can register here to obtain an account number.) For sweepstakes details and restrictions, go to https://bit.ly/WinTwoTicketsonANA.

Additionally, for every 100 entries the sweepstakes receives, ANA will continue their tradition of planting cherry blossom trees in the D.C. community*. ANA has planted 113 trees with the National Cherry Blossom Festival throughout the region, including at Georgetown University, Langley High School, Walt Whitman High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and more. (*The maximum number of trees ANA will plant is 30.)

ANA is a longtime supporter of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and will be a Host Sponsor in 2023. ANA also returns as the Presenting Sponsor for the Festival’s ANA Stage at the Tidal Basin, as well as a Supporting Sponsor of the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events DC.

ANA was founded in 1952 and is the largest airline in Japan, now directly flying to 10 North American destinations, including Washington, D.C. Servicing Dulles International Airport for over 30 years, ANA is eager to celebrate the opening of Japan to international travel with this sweepstakes.

“Washington D.C. was one of ANA’s first U.S. gateways. It was pivotal in helping us strive for an interconnected world and bridging an understanding between people and cultures. We are proud to support the National Cherry Blossom Festival and create these inclusive community events that bring memories that last a lifetime and celebrate the relationship between Japan and the U.S.,” said Junko Yazawa, Senior Vice President of ANA.

The 2023 Festival honors the historic gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Tokyo to Washington, D.C. What started as a simple ceremony in 1927 has grown into one of the world’s great celebrations of spring, creating joyful moments and memories throughout four weeks of food, fun, culture, and entertainment among the beautiful cherry blossom trees. This year’s festivities will take place March 20 through April 16. For more information, visit NationalCherryBlossomFestival.org.

About ANA

Founded in 1952 with just two helicopters, All Nippon Airways (ANA) has grown to become the largest airline in Japan. ANA HOLDINGS Inc. (ANA HD) was established in 2013 as the largest airline group holding company in Japan, comprising 69 companies including ANA and Peach Aviation, the leading LCC in Japan.

ANA is a launch customer and the largest operator of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, making ANA HD the biggest Dreamliner owner in the world. A member of Star Alliance since 1999, ANA has joint venture agreements with United Airlines, Lufthansa German Airlines, Swiss International Airlines and Austrian Airlines – giving it a truly global presence.

The airline’s legacy of superior service has helped it earn SKYTRAX’s respected 5-Star rating every year since 2013, with ANA being the only Japanese airline to win this prestigious designation for ten consecutive years. ANA also has been recognized by Air Transport World as “Airline of the Year” three times (2007, 2013 and 2018); it is one of only a select few airlines to win this prominent award multiple times.

In 2021, ANA was awarded the 5-star COVID-19 safety rating by SKYTRAX, recognizing the airline’s initiatives to provide a safe, clean and hygienic environment at airports and aboard aircraft, embodied in the ANA Care Promise.
ANA is the only company in the aviation industry to receive the Gold Class distinction from the 2022 S&P Global Sustainability Awards and ANA HD has been selected as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index list for the fifth consecutive year and the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index list for the sixth consecutive year.
