Through the Lens: Tokyo Transect

Join National Geographic photographer David Guttenfelder on a journey across Tokyo, the world’s most populous city, and pull back the curtain on the lived experiences of Tokyo’s residents. Highlighting Tokyo’s culture, traditions, quirks, and cherry blossoms, this story will convey the advantages and challenges of modern city life, while exploring how as a species we can limit our impact on the world we all share. Parking is available to event attendees at our garage located at 1600 M St NW Washington, D.C. 20036. Parking opens one hour before the event. Please show proof of purchase to access the garage. The closest metro stop is Farragut North on the red line. Will call opens one hour before show time. All seating is first come, first served. All programs include a short Q&A session. Drinks and tumblers are available for purchase at select events. The purchase of a tumbler includes one free drink.
