Accessibility at the Festival

We believe every person deserves to experience the beauty of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, regardless of ability or mobility.

Please check the individual event pages for details that pertain to that event. A general guide is below.

Mobility Access

Most events are wheelchair-accessible. If there is an exception, the event description will share details.

Communication Access

Individual events will note when ASL interpretation will be provided. If you need accommodations that are not already in place, please contact us at tickets@ncbfdc.org to make a request at least two (2) weeks in advance.

Service Animals

Service animals are always allowed at Festival events.

Sensory Considerations

When an event typically draws large crowds and can be noisy, this section will let you know so you can prepare. For example, if someone in your group has sensory sensitivities, you may wish to bring headphones or earplugs.

seating

Accessible seating is available at most events. If you or a member of your party requires specific seating arrangements, please contact ncbf@ncbfdc.org in advance so we can accommodate your needs.
