In 2021, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Art in Bloom program, presented by Amazon, celebrated the mystique of the District while showcasing its vibrant arts scene.

In 2022, the community-wide visual arts exhibition returned to the Washington, DC metro area, featuring cherry blossom statues designed by local artists and the internationally renowned Patrick Guyton, 2021 Festival Official Artist. Residents are invited to once again celebrate spring by scouting the blossoms throughout the city and capturing the moment on social media.
