Celebrate spring at Petalpalooza®, for a full day of live music and engaging activities!
This day-long all-ages spring street party brings art, music, and play to multiple outdoor stages, interactive art installations, a cashless beverage garden, family-friendly hands-on activities, roaming entertainers, and more, all along the banks of the Anacostia River. The evening is capped by the dazzling choreographed Official National Cherry Blossom Festival Fireworks show set to music starting at 8:30 PM.
This event is FREE and fun for all ages.

At Petalpalooza, there are five zones, plus the Petalwalk. Here are some highlights from each area:
- In Blossom Buds (Zone 1), there will be a carousel and other family-friendly activities sponsored by IKEA, DC Paid Family Leave, DC Defenders, DC United, Washington Spirit, LEGO Discovery Center, and Metro.
- In Cherry Blast (Zone 2), there will be a DJ Art Throwdown, featuring music, breakdancing, and art created on site, and many other activities sponsored by iHeart Media, Verizon, and Brookfield Properties.
- In Flower Power (Zone 3), you’ll find an art market with local artists, plus gardening activities, live music, and more activities sponsored by M&T Bank, Sapporo, Anacostia Riverkeepers, and the Navy Yard BID.
- In Petal Landing (Zone 4), enjoy live music and dancing, plus other features sponsored by Washington Performing Arts, LaCroix, Bond Vet, and Potbelly.
- Along Petalwalk, take pictures of the beautiful views and try the ARTECHOUSE XR activation.
- In Blossom Bay, check out the performances on the 202 Stage, interact with local birds of prey with Earth Conservation Corp, and check out the other activities sponsored b Malloy Law Group and Giant Food.
And throughout the event, there will be food trucks, face painting, glitter tattoos, music, and more.
