The Sakura Taiko Fest, hosted by The Mark H Rooney Taiko School and produced by Miyako Taiko, welcomes taiko groups from across North America for a day of free, family-friendly taiko performances among DC’s famous cherry blossoms. Now in its 13th year, the Sakura Taiko Fest is a celebration of community and Japanese-American cultural traditions.
