KITES IN THE CLASSROOM

Get ready to fly! Kites in the Classroom is a hands-on, interactive program for 3rd–5th graders that blends science, creativity, and culture. Students will dive into the art and physics of kite flying, learning how these colorful creations take flight. Through fun and engaging workshops, they’ll design, build, and fly their own kites while exploring the magic of aerodynamics.

As an exciting extension of the Blossom Kite Festival, this program brings the joy of kite flying and the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s spirit into the classroom!
