The Second Annual Pedal Boat Race promises an exciting celebration of spring in Washington, D.C. This event invites participants of all ages to race pedal boats across the iconic Tidal Basin, a beautiful body of water surrounded by the famous monuments and memorials.
Racers will navigate their boats past the delicate blossoms that attract visitors from around the world each year. The race features friendly heats, with awards for the fastest and best-dressed participants.
50% of the net proceeds will go towards the Trust for the National Cherry Blossom Tree Endowment Fund to protect Stumpy and his friends!
