WASHINGTON (Feb, 28 2024) — The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events DC — the nation’s springtime parade — returns Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The colorful celebration marches down Washington, D.C.’s iconic Constitution Avenue and is one of the signature events of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The Parade is free for viewing on the street, and limited individual and group Grandstand tickets are available for purchase.
“This joyful springtime tradition is an event that children and adults alike look forward to every year,” said Diana Mayhew, president and CEO of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. “Let’s Spring Together with our families and friends and reserve your spot at the Grandstand. The Parade will feature elaborate floats and balloons, award-winning performers, marching bands from across the nation, performances from local artists, youth groups, choirs, costume characters, and much more. Iconic hip-hop group The Sugarhill Gang will be performing and more spectacular performances will be announced at a later date.

The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade takes place on the final weekend of the Festival, as one of several events spanning four weeks to celebrate spring and the beauty of the cherry blossoms. The Festival will take place March 20 – April 14, 2024, throughout Washington, D.C., and around the region.
