Resiliency & Friendship: Reflections on 3.11

In a fireside chat, Amb. Roos, Ms. Roos, and Ms. Basalla will recount their personal stories of being in Tokyo on March 11, 2011 and in the days and months that followed. From the challenges they faced, to the coming together of people, communities, and two allied nations–the U.S. and Japan–their reflections weave together the resiliency, friendship, and hope they encountered.

Following the fireside chat, Ms. Shanti Shoji, Director of Programs at Sasakawa USA, will moderate a Q&A session between the speakers and the audience.
